We are what we do
The psycho-pedagogical bases of our educational project are based on global work. Each of the learning areas are worked on together. The child experiments and learns with his whole body, he must take advantage of all his aptitudes and capacities to learn.
It will be necessary to work on the habits that will allow them to achieve the necessary autonomy to be able to adapt to a constantly changing society. To achieve all this, it will be important to be able to grow up in an environment of feelings and affection that provide confidence and personal security.
The adult will be the vehicle that will help the child to have a taste and desire to learn, to explore, to investigate, to imagine, to experiment and to observe. The aim is to implement the project that each child carries at birth and for this reason the most traditional methodologies have been integrated with the latest knowledge and new contributions on child development.
VESS
VESS (Vida Equilibrada con Sentido y Sabiduría – Balanced Life with Sense and Wisdom) makes students the protagonists of their learning. This visionary educational model combines global programmes with the PYP methodology, fostering holistic development: spiritual, emotional, social, personal, intellectual and physical. VESS creates a culture of critical and creative thinking for a full and balanced life.
English
The earlier a child starts learning English, the easier and more beneficial it will be. Young children acquire language innately, without voluntary effort. Our methodology presents English in real and fun contexts, similar to a native child, using songs, materials and activities for natural and individual learning.
Education in values
Educating children in values such as friendship, understanding, tolerance, patience, solidarity and respect improves their coexistence and well-being. A child who respects others and understands limits will have a healthy life in his or her family and school environment. Values guide our behaviour and attitudes correctly.
Musical stimulation
Children are naturally attracted to music, an excellent channel of communication and emotional expression. Music enhances children’s physical, mental and socio-emotional development through fun and play. Stimulating a child musically is a rich and magical way to support their holistic growth.
Early stimulation
The first six years of life are crucial for a child’s physical, emotional and intellectual development. This period of rapid growth and change is strongly influenced by its environment. Early stimulation offers a stimulus-rich environment, providing optimal opportunities for development through specific activities.
Constant innovation
We live in a world of rapid change and liquid reality, which requires us to adapt creatively. Fostering critical thinking and creativity, and preparing students for life, are fundamental to innovative schools. In addition, inclusion and equality are promoted so that all students achieve their goals.
Psychomotricity
Psychomotor skills help children to accept and love their bodies, improving their self-esteem and relationships. At our school, we dedicate daily time to these activities, promoting sensory, perceptual and motor development. This fosters safety, creativity, conflict resolution, and the enjoyment of group play.
Swimming
Early childhood swimming offers physical, neurological and emotional benefits. It improves motor coordination, strengthens the cardiorespiratory and immune system, and helps to relax. Stimulates flow intelligence, creativity and self-esteem. In addition, it facilitates socialisation in a playful environment, teaching better sharing and communication.
Lunchtime
We know that food is a concern for families, especially for those who bring their children to school for lunch. We want you to have confidence in our canteen service. We coordinate with families to encourage healthy and consistent habits, offering a varied and nutritious diet in a clean and tidy environment.
Family Activities
Family activities are essential for children, as they provide them with moments of fun and learning in a safe and loving environment. Games, crafts or walks together not only strengthen family ties, but also stimulate their creativity and emotional development.
Music therapy
Music therapy is a discipline that uses music to promote physical, emotional and mental well-being. Through rhythms, melodies and sounds, it helps improve communication, reduce stress and encourage emotional expression, being a valuable tool in various therapeutic treatments.
Parties and celebrations
Parties and celebrations are magical times for children, filled with joy, games and laughter. These special occasions not only create unforgettable memories, but also teach them the value of sharing, celebrating together and enjoying the company of family and friends.
Own kitchen
Our school canteen, supervised by a nutritionist, offers balanced menus adapted to the needs of the little ones. With fresh and varied food, we guarantee a healthy diet that contributes to their growth, while they learn good eating habits in a pleasant and safe environment.
Multiple intelligences
In children, multiple intelligences develop naturally through play and exploration. By offering them a variety of experiences, such as music, art, movement and problem solving, different areas of their intelligence are stimulated, allowing each child to discover and enhance their unique abilities from an early age.
Screen-free space
Creating a screen-free space for children encourages their creativity and healthy development. During these times, they can explore, play and socialize more actively, which helps them strengthen their motor, social and cognitive skills while enjoying a childhood that is more connected to the real world.
